ADP security systems use a company's existing infrastructure and can incorporate up to 64 cameras across multiple locations throughout the UK and has been designed to use existing video cameras and cabling which dramatically cuts down the costs of the initial installation.
At the main site, ADP install a small central server for image storage, software and a number of surveillance cameras. At remote site locations more IP cameras can be installed. An operator can keep abreast of what's happening across all the sites at the same time from one central location.
Alarms within the software warn of any motion detected on remote sites. The police can be informed of what's happening in real time, and quality images can be provided to assist with any necessary investigations.
With some companies having as many as 40 or 50 linked sites, the cost savings on security personnel can be significant.
