JCB Medway selects Autoline to support expansion plans
JCB Medway Ltd has recently signed a contract with ADP. The company will implement the Autoline dealer management system across its five sites in Kent which represent Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercials, Honda and Suzuki franchises. Prior to making the decision to install Autoline, JCB Medway carried out an efficiencies review which identified that the system would enable the company to make specific improvements in the areas of accounts and service. In overall terms, with the implementation of a fully integrated dealer management system, some worthwhile cost savings would also be realised as Autoline would replace the need for certain third party add-on systems.
The company recently added the Suzuki franchise to their Ashford site and has further expansion plans which Autoline will help to support. Another strong factor in the decision process was the visibility and control for the managing director to view the entire group’s performance from the consolidated management reports.
JCB Medway’s success is in part due to their strong and effective approach to marketing. Liz Gray, group project manager was impressed with the CRM module that sits at the heart of Autoline and said. “There is the potential to achieve significant efficiencies through the use of a single database within Autoline to create and execute campaigns. Currently, it takes us a whole day to extract the data for three marketing campaigns.” Their new system will speed this up enormously and will also enable the parts department to capture customer details which is not possible with their current system. Autoline will provide JCB Medway with the opportunity to generate more marketing activity and in turn, more revenue and increased profitability.
In summary, Jonathan Bischoff, managing director and owner confirmed, “Autoline was selected as it is a fully integrated dealer management system which supports best practice business processes and in turn to help achieve efficiencies throughout the business”.
